Just Being You

When using mascara, I honestly have to say that I do not like the clumpy look. This looks cheap and ill prepared to me. For a fix but long lashes, try combing through the lashes after each application with a clean mascara wand and/or using more than one type of mascara. Enjoy and be you! :)

Day 47: List down all the makeup stuff that you bring with you when you travel. When I travel I usually bring these basics

 Dream Matte Mousse (Maybelline NY) Light 04

 Pressed Powder foundation (Laura Geller) Regular

Pressed Powder Blush (Laura Geller) Pink Grapefruit

Pressed Powder Blush (Sephora)

Concealer/Highlighter (Rimmel) 

And then a basic brown liner, black mascara and small palettes of more usable eyeshadows. 

Day 46: Favorite store for makeup shopping? My favorite makeup stores are Sephora, Ulta, Walgreens, and Ocean State Job Lot. These are where I usually buy all of my makeup, other than online. 

Day 45: Do you spend a ton of money for makeup? Yes and no. Honestly, I believe that many drugstore brands have great quality for their price and it’s sometimes better to go for knockoffs than the real thing. But I do have a lot of makeup. Refer to Day 09 for a picture. 

Day 44: Pencil, liquid or gel liner? I have all three of these types of liners but for time’s sake, I usually use pencil liner even though gel is longer lasting and liquid looks more defined. 

Day 43: Favorite eye makeup look? I think my favorite eye makeup look would have to be a simple smokey eye. This look works for almost any occasion. 

Day 42: Do you put makeup on other people? Sometimes I do. It depends on what I am doing and who wants me to do their makeup. 

Day 41: One makeup item you can never live without? Foundation because it covers the discoloration of my skin, the redness, and the oiliness. 

Day 40: One makeup item you wish to own? One makeup item that I wish to own is a Physician Formula Highlighter Glow. I love the looks of them but can’t see a reason in spending the money. 

Day 39: Can you do your makeup professionally? I believe I can do makeup professionally on some looks but not others. It is a learning process for me that I am enjoying.

Day 38: Favorite blush? My favorite blush would have to be Laura Geller’s baked blush in Pink Grapefruit. I love the color and feel it is very natural for my skin tone. 

Day 37: Do you wear nail polish? (Yes, nail polish is still categorized as makeup.) I love nail polish! I have gel nail tips put on and get my nails done professionally every 3 weeks. I also own more than 80 nail polishes in all different colors.
